Judith McKinney owns and operates Immagine’, LLC, an art, stationery, and gift company located in Ashland, Virginia. Her love of photography has been long-standing and she is happy to share her images through her company, Immagine’, LLC, which was founded in 2012. Originally, Immagine’ featured the work of one artist, and has grown to partner with over thirty-five artists, photographers, authors, jewelers, and a wide variety of vendors and makers. Immagine’ hosts private art shows, vendor shows, holiday markets, sells in retail stores, and operates an active online store found at: immaginellcshop.com.
Judith graduated from Ball State University (Indiana) in 1978 and moved to Virginia after teaching for one year in southeastern Ohio. She earned both a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education in 1994 and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. Prior to her retirement in January, 2017, Judith worked as a special educator, private placement specialist, and a school monitoring specialist for Hanover County Public Schools and the Virginia Department of Education.
Judith has been a past member of The Hanover County Public Schools Pre-School Initiative Policy Council, the Town of Ashland Parks and Recreation Committee, and treasurer for the Hanover Retired School Employees Association. She currently serves a Parent Representative on the local Family Assessment and Planning Team, is a board member of the CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation and is an active member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Ashland, serving on various committees. She owns and operates ACT Connections, a special education advocacy, consulting and training company, supporting student with disabilities.
